We're gowen to Bonnie Doon!!

We awoke to a overcast Melbourne day as we gathered our possessions that were by this time all over the place. Thanks guys for letting us trash ya house. We then hit the road.....it was raining and the windscreen wipers were not working - tam had pulled the mechanism out the day before. So to make them work the passenger had to press the mechanism against the car body so it could earth, which would cause a spark, oh Hurse! It was pretty exciting. We mosied on down to Brighton for a coffee, a place called tucci brown, good coffee, great macaroons and all the journal supplies you will ever need or want. So after a coffee or two, a game of chess (Hails totally beat TAM!), a browse, ash on the piano and tam on the vocals, we grabbed some lunch and set off for the famous Bonnie Doon!
The drive was pretty and excitement was in the air. Saw a great idea for shade on a tractor.
We arrived in bonnie at about 5pm, as the sun was setting we made our way along the winding lakeside road stopping for paddocks of 50 or more Roos!
Getting to the juraschecks holiday house on the hill we were greeted by Deb, Pete, Stella, Jac, Jordy and Jackson.
We immediately were enjoying a glass of red and relaxing. Dinner was had and the night finished with port and an outdoor spa, Mmmmmm
Once again haylie awoke at the crack of dawn but managed to stay in bed long enough so she didn't annoy us all AGAIN!
We drove out to Watsons horse riding adventures.....!!!! We were given dryza-bones and attractive helmets (against tam's will)! And we were introduced to our noble steeds for the day: haylie to jordy, Lizzie to ox, asha to mr t and tam to avoca.
We rode off on our tour of the place where man from snowy river was filmed. It was raining and miserable but strangely pleasant. Especially when cantering along paths where wet hanging bushes slapped us in the face. Tam n Hails as experienced riders were in the front team that moved faster, while Lizzie and ash stayed with the loser team. (haha) but after 10 mins the girls (sick of being losers) requested they go faster so they were put into our faster cooler team, and fun, and wetness in the saddle and cantering was experienced by all. Haylie's horse had trouble doing a wee wee and tam's horse was on heat (horse NOT like rider) but ash n lizzies horsies were great. After traversing the land tea and fruit cake is all we could think about. TING!!
Coming into mansfield we drove past a cop car, so super safe we continued not to draw attention...but flashing lights were behind us and we were all panicking 'what did we do' 'we werent speeding!!' so over we pulled and silent we sat, two officers came to the window as one said 'your not in trouble we just wanted to admire your car'......so we got some photos with them, and as tam was on the road taking a photo lizzie said 'thats highly illegal' ....to that an officer replied 'what are they gunna do? Call the cops?' ahahah
So home we drove, as we got back to Bonnie the storm hit! The girls fell more in love with Stella and jac and we decided we were taking them with us. (ps they are dogs) We watched lightning and drank wine, then watched the man from snow river, Lizzie doted on Jim, Haylie thought about Moo, Tam imagined she owned Denny and Asha slept.
