melbs

We were greeted in Melbourne by Moo aka Mark Jankovic with little gift bags full of chocolates, toys, drinks and shot glasses and whisked away to the Peninsular to go the Natural Hot springs for a nice relaxing time in the baths and saunas... After spending a couple of hours chilling out we all got ready at jizzys and went out for dinner at a fantastic Mexican restaurant called 'Bahas'  ,not only was the company, food, margaritas and sangria amazing but we got to be entertained by one of the coolest bands we have seen called "Graveyard train " we would describe them as dirty sorrowful seashanty folk.. With instruments such as the hammer and chain, harmonica, spanish guitar, banjo, dobro and squeezebox. Had the best time, would definitely recommend you to see them!
The fun in Melbourne had only just begun... Saturday,  Moo organized a fancy dress bike riding adventure through the city along the Yarra to Southbank , we were joined by Jesse and Brent . It was so much fun , our crew stopped in at James squire brewery and the Belgium bier cafe. Along the way we found a giant 7 person bike cruising around, they let moo take over as lead cyclist for a bit!
After the meeting on Sunday we had a beautiful picnic down by Parkdale beach with Moo, Jizzy , Matt and Brent .. Drank from a fresh coconut and read some poetry
Next day Tammy , Lizzy and Asha met up with Anriele in the city for a coffee and to bid her farewell back to Lennox (we miss you!) and headed down to Torquay to meet up with Jen, Ben and Em for lunch where we checked out Bells beach and looked for Keanu and Patrick... Lizzy braved the freezing cold water to have a surf at Birdrock ( just north of Bells) her wetsuit had a tear which Tammy duct taped up.       (that duct tape has done wonders on this trip)
That evening we headed back to the boys for yet another Mexican fiesta served up by Haylie and Moo who had spent a nice day together at St Kilda by the Pier
